women and album covers?
razor face asked:
Why is it that when ever a woman comes out with an album the majority of the time the album cover is just her looking like a ***** or something. why can’t they be creative instead of jumping in a bed almost **** touching themselves to make the album cover. i mean i don’t have a problem with this as far as yes they are hot but i just wish they would be less lazy and actually make real album art and not just jump in the sac *****. not all women do this and some men have them selves on album covers but it seems most common among women and almost all the time(i’m a musician and i make all my album art through alot of hard work).

Half the time the men want to be seen as ***** too.
I agree with you, but it’s appealing to the basest instincts that makes an album cover stand out. Sex, drugs, money, scariness….you name it, the gimmick will be tried.
Most female artists came to be because of their looks. Britney Spears? Did you hear her voice with Hit me, baby? Horrible. But her body was VERY mature. They got famous from their looks, they STAY famous by their looks.
Hey, if they had great sense of art for their albums, would they be a pop or RB star?
