If musicians were to form a new Justice League, which artists would be saving the world?

Happy Friday, RP!!!
I asked a question not too long ago about musicians becoming superheroes and what their super powers would be, but I’ve put a slight twist on it here. Which musicians would be the best fit to be these already-existing superheroes?

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Flash
Green Lantern
Aquaman
Martian Manhunter
This was the original line-up, but if you have any you would like to add feel free. And why you choose each one is up to you…

Hey, Silver!
James - Britney as the Flash…classic!
Master C - wait…there’s a band named after Tippi Hedren? *giggle*
Hey, Darth!
Hi, Bowzer! ![]()
Yes…you, Darth a few other gentlemen inspired yesterday’s Avril question. *giggle*

Johnny Knoxville
Superman - Henry Rollins
Batman - Ozzy
Wonder Woman - Pat Benetar
Flash -
Green Lantern -
Aquaman -
Martian Manhunter - David Bowie
I’ll fill in the rest shortly
Happy Friday afternoon, Sookie
This requires a fair bit of thought!
Superman ~ Peter Steele
{don’t ask me why!}
Batman ~ Elton John
{he gets to wear tights, and a weird outfit!}
Wonder Woman ~ Stevie Nicks
{she’s got the platform boots, and used to have the cleavage!}
I have no idea who the other 4 are!
Edit :~
Actually, I might replace Stevie with Candice Night…
Superman - Henry Rollins
Batman- Jon Bon Jovi - secret home life and all
Wonder Woman - Joan Jett - anyone tougher?
Flash - Britney Spears??
Green lantern - Billie Joe Armstrong - already green!
Aquaman - Paul McCartney - (wrote songs about a sub and an admiral)
Martian Manhunter - Gerard, if earthlings can’t be saved……
Wow… what I perfect question for a self-professed Batman and JLA geek.
Superman - Jon Bon Jovi, the ultimate boy scout… has that guy ever done anything and gotten any flack for it?
Batman - Jack Blades, he’s so, he can even take Superman out.
Wonder Woman - Susanna Hoffs, because she’d look AWESOME in that costume. … and I swear I’d tell the truth if she tied me up with her lasso.
Flash - Axl Rose. Why? Although his character is the fastest man alive, poor Barry Allen is *never* on time. (Hey, I told you I was a JLA geek.)
Aquaman - Ringo Starr, completely useless except for one episode a year / one song an album.
Martian Manhunter - Billy Corgan. That dude looks so f*cked up, he’s GOT to be from another planet.
and
Green Arrow - Ted Nugent, no explanation needed.
Black Canary - Allison Robertson (guitarist for the Donnas)… I’m not sure why, I just want to see her in the fish nets.
The Wonder Twins - Nelson
… and I am unfortunately drawing a blank on Green Lantern. Damn.
… and before anyone mentions it, let me just put in a pre-emptive I know and say that I know that Barry Allen is no longer The Flash because he died in the 1st Crisis and blah blah blah.
NP: Turbo Lover - Judas Priest
Superman: Henry Rollins (obviously!)
Batman: Greg Graffin (PhD makes him a prime candidate)
Wonder Woman: Tippi (Hedrons front is awesome)
Flash: Eugene Hutz (Gogol front has a lot of energy)
Green Lantern: George Clinton (bring the funk back!)
Aquaman: Tommy Lee (known for aquatic adventures)
Martian Manhunter: Gerard Way (I swear he is from another planet)
***Saw the Hedrons live last month (opened for Guttermouth). She came out and said Hello Cleveland! Toward the end of the set, she walked through the crowd, got up on the bar, and finished the set there.
Bono- Batman
Bruce Springsteen- Superman
Michael Stipe or Shirley Manson- Wonder Woman
Tom Petty- Flash
Billie Joe Armstrong- Green Lantern
Goran Kralj- Aquaman
Robert Smith- Martian Manhunter
umm… Gotta think about the rest!
Great question, and great answers so far. I’m not even going to attempt to beat Mike’s though. It is way too awesome!
Superman- Bono (sometimes I feel that he really believes he’s Superman)
Batman- Ozzy Osborne (we all know he loves fake bats)
Wonder Woman- Joan Jett (I can’t stand her, but back when she had long hair she always reminded me of Wonder Woman)
Flash- Rick James (I’m the Flash…B*ITCH!!) or David Bowie (Ziggy Stardust)
Green Lantern-I really don’t know. But, I’ll agree with the other posters that said Billie Joe Armstrong. Sounds good to me.
Aquaman—Eh…don’t know one for here either.
Martian Manhunter–Pete Wentz (With the ridiculous amounts of makeup on, he looks like an alien to me)
Happy friday Sookie
Mike Answer did kick major league **** didn’t it, Prof?
Superman…
Ozzy, Clark Kent at home, Superman on stage
Batman
Mike was sooo right about Jack Blades I’ll choose Him as well
Wonder Woman
Obviously Avril, whould I choose anyone else?
(Marry Me Avril!)
The Flash
Yngwie Malmsteen….who’s faster?
The Green Latern
Trent Reznor
Aquaman
Garard Way, because if anyone belongs under the Sea
Martian Manhunter
Dave Brock, He was born for the gig.
Happy Friday, Sookie : )
Aquaman - Ringo Starr, completely useless except for one episode a year / one song an album.
Now, that logic is utterly undeniable…
PS: OMG, Darth - Avril - not you too!
gene simmons.
motley crue’s drummer (can’t think of his name)
Superman-Robert Plant
(Ultimately strong, but can show weakness, Poster Boy)
Batman-Glen Danzig
(Brooding strength, loner)
Wonder Woman-Cristina Scabbia
(Take no crap from you)
Flash-Angus Young
(No need to explain)
Green Lantern-Jimi Hendrix
(Thoughtful, unique, wise for his years)
Aquaman-Bruce Dickinson
(Water water everywhere and all the boards did shrink)
Martian Manhunter- Thom Yorke
(Again, no explanation needed)
