I know that the singer (Annette) is a female and that there used to be another female (Tarja) who also sang; but are any of the instrumentalists women, or are they all men? I recently saw one of their videos and it looked like some of the musicians playing instruments were women; which confused me because I thought that Annette and Tarja were the only women ever associated with that band.
Yeah BBB was the video I’m referring to.

   One, Annette Olzon, the women in the music video (Bye Bye Beautiful) were just there for the video, the video shows how any member of the band can be replaced, because the song is about the former singer (Tarja Turunen) being replaced.

   the members of nightwish are Marco Hietala (bass vocals), Tuomas Holopainen (keyboard), Anette Olzon (vocals), Jukka Nevalainen (drums), Emppu Vuorinen (guitar).anette is the replacement for tarja(she was fired).she’s the only female in the band

   There are no women, just 4 guys and an extremely chipper chipmunk.

   Here’s a video of some ***** pretending to be Tarja singing Bye Bye Beautiful, but turns the lyrics around. I thought it was funny.

   Only Tarja and Annette are women. Annette is the only one still in the band.
   In the Bye Bye Beautiful music video the rest of the band are being played by women some of the time. XD
