Is It Important To Have Diversity
This essay is about diversity. How genetic diversity in individuals of the same species helps the species survive is a topic for Biology. Diversity is the quality state fact or instance of being diverse: difference and it brings us, too many challenges that question our beliefs and practices. It allows us to view ideas from a different perspectives, and thus to grow. How often have you been certain that your way of doing something was and perfect ideal, only to later find that there existed a more efficient method? Diversity brings out the best in people, business practices, and art. Creative humans feed on the flow and interchange of ideas.
If scientist did not collaborate with one another, progress would be boring. If musicians did not borrow techniques, music would be boring. If business does not adopt different attitudes about women’s rights, rights of the disabled and so on, we will have a one sided and exclusive economy, which in turn would greatly affect our bottom line.
I think that diversity is important, because one you can expand your horizons by learning about different cultures and customs, but also on a deeper level you can find elements that connect us all that are present in everyone regardless of ethnicity or label. It is this realization of an inner unity that is so very important that is definitely lacking in a world where false borders and labels divides people and create false wars and needless pain and isolation. No man is a land! Besides expanding our horizons … are there any read benefits of having a diverse world?
I have been pondering about this… I love diversity but there is always thinking about the other side you know. Life gives us the opportunity to see diversity in different angles. As we meet, more people we see changes we want to make in ourselves and appreciate the best of who and what we can become. I also think diversity is important and exciting. An exchange of ideas and ideology is how we grow as people or as a nation. It allows people to take an old idea or method and try something new, perhaps better. I have been accused of sitting on the fence about things but that is because I can see both sides of a situation or at least find something I would never considered before that has made me look at things in a different way and give it serious consideration.
If your community is homogeneously white Christians, You have prejudice against non-white and non-Christians. If you have too many African Americans or people from New Guinea, well, then you seriously run the danger of being eaten. Imagine a world where all people are alike, as in same in the way they think, act and so on… that is so boring…diversity is important because it can make each of us special and grow as a better person.
Personally, I am thankful for the wonderful diversity of this country. As for ethnic diversity, it seems to have the potential of weakening the overall social and communal bonds and thereby allowing for greater individual freedom. In addition, to having an understanding and respect for diversity is an integral component of the fight for Humans Rights

   Diversity in the extreme is chaos. Conformity in the extreme is oppression of the human spirit. Neither extreme is desireable.

   Edit: In the 70s E. F. Schumacher wrote the highly influential Small is Beautiful, an intelligent criticism of institutional bigness. After its publication myriad fawning admirers appeared all over the popular and middle-highbrow culture scene. Schumacher was a bit disgusted with the hype, and said in an interview that if there had been too much smallness in the world’s institutions, he’d have written ‘Big is Beautiful.
   ___Diversity is currently a buzzword and an intellectual fad. Unfortunately, many of its promoters fail to realize that presenting it as a panacea is a good thing only for a culture that leans too far toward conformity and narrowness. But as children are spoonfed diversity from kindergarten onward, schoolteachers (the lowest-scoring occupational group that takes GREs) fail to realize that they’re creating a population of potential extremists who lack any comprehension of the benefits of conventions, shared beliefs, and predictability in human behavior. Too much diversity in manners shows itself as the oft-noted loss of civility, and its effects on vehicular right-of-way observances are positively obscene. Diversity is not an unambiguously good thing.

   another way of looking is human creation: sci have proven tt ****** / inbreeding leads to genetic problem with the children who may come out moron. hence its best to marry outside the family and enlarge the gene pool.
   as we can see humanity is moving slowly in this direction. look at all the interethnic marriages and how beautiful these kids come out. to maintain the beauty of diversity is to enlarge the education sys - tt we must learn abt the world and all its diversity. when our knowledge increase we realize the beauty of creation. like the flowers in one garden . isnt it beautiful with the myriad of colors. indeed diversity is unity. oneness of humanity will bring abt peace, harmony

   What I would tell you to look at is the trouble that a lack of diversity has caused in the animal husbandry business. Also look at the problems that the American Kennel Club has causes by specify breeds by how they look and not how the animal functions. These are all warnings on why humans need to interbreed so that we do not causes in us the same problems that have happened in plant hybridization or in dog breeding
