I like some raps and sometimes the little bit of music/singing in them are good but most of them sound the same just people talking fast about being tough, drugs, a thug/pimp’s life and money and women with lots of swearing and grunts.

   only a few spit off tongue twisters like rapid fire, i.e., Twista and BONE Thugs N Harmony. some rap slower but still say comprehensible things and others are just flat out lame.

   I think that most rappers just thrive off of speaking over a cool beat and don’t really sing at all. It’s the deep bass and cool beats that make a rap song, not the lyrics because they’re all about the same thing; drugs, sex, mansions, and cars.

   I think some are good musicians..The ones who rap about life experiences or with good beats and positive lyrics..People who rap about money,hoes,sexing etc. are not true artists in my opinion. People like Nas,Dmx,tupac are all good artists with positive songs.

   i dont call it singing…and most of it isnt very musical…its more like beligerant performance poetry with backing music.

   Wow what kinda question was that. Well there are a noteable amount of people whether or not they are rappers and singers in different genres of music, whether it may be country, pop, rock, hip hop, who are good at tongue twisters. Because too me rock is people screaming, they may or may not be talking fast, they’re talking about being tough, drugs, and I don’t know what you consider to be a thug but I’m pretty sure everyone pretty much has the same definition of what a pimp is and the most well known pimp I know (Hughe Hefner) doesn’t really strike me as being a thug or a rapper. But anyway, alot of genres of music also talk about money (go figure), and women (wow who would’ve ever thought) and this is the big one SWEARING. So are you trying to say that rap music is the only genre of music that is censored because if you are somethings really wrong with you. And last but not least you metioned grunts, I would personally prefer grunts to streaking screams. Do some more research on the topic before you ask a question.
