beatle1909 asked:

No one to the best of my knowledge has ever seen the two men together on the same stage. And, I wonder why Ellen DeGeneris never asked Barack Obama to perform Johnny B. Goode on her show? The last thing America needs, is another musician in the White House, who has a proclivity towards underage women.
Chuck Berry is 81 years old. And while no one has convinced me otherwise, I will be satisfied if Mr. Berry is invited to perform at Barack Obama’s election party.

has any singer or politician have ever carried a crowd as large as Barack Obama?

  7. dinodino on September 9th, 2008 6:23 pm

Nope. Chuck is almost 80 years old and was been making music years before Obama was born.

Chuck has processed hair and a mustache

Obama looks nothing like good ol’ American Rock and roller Berry. He’s biracial and young. McCain looks like the scarecrow on the Wizard of Oz and George Bush looks like Alf. Who cares? Obama’s a presidential candidate and the best man for the job.

Obama’s wife is closer to his age. McCain chose a younger woman, and threw his first wife over for her, so maybe your beef’s with McCain?

    Obama 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chuck Berry is probably 80 years old… so no, not the same person. BTW, we don’t actually ALL look alike.

Nope Chuck Berry was a great man in the USA. He contributed to this country. He was an enjoyment to watch and to sing with. He opened doors and laid a lot of racism to rest.

Barry Obama is the last thing this country needs. He is attempting to stir up racism.

The movie White Men Can’t Jump should explain why he was never asked to perform that particular song.

Lots of white kids tried to emulate Chuck Berry and his style of dancing. That is why Johnny B. Good was a top hit for so long.

Isn’t this like Obama aka Jimmy Carter:

Third jail term, White House performance and final studio album (1979)

Berry’s type of touring style, traveling the oldies circuit in the 1970s — where he was often paid in cash by local promoters — added ammunition to the Internal Revenue Service’s accusations that Berry was a chronic income tax evader. Facing criminal sanction for the third time, Berry pleaded guilty to tax evasion and was sentenced to four months imprisonment and 1,000 hours of community service — doing benefit concerts — in 1979.

At the request of Jimmy Carter, Chuck Berry performed at The White House on June 1, 1979. [18] Also in 1979, Berry released Rockit for Atco Records, his last studio album to date.

John McCain has a musical connection too. One of his relatives, on his dad’s side- William Alexander McCain –owned a plantation in Carroll County, Mississippi where the late blues man Mississippi John Hurt was born to slave parents.

    CHUCK BERRY IS NOT DEAD.

If a guitarist that amazing died, I’d know.

As Obama’s campaign implodes from lack of substance he’ll wish we was the more popular and widely loved Chuck Berry.

I found this article talking about the coming breakdown in the Obama camp.

Are you and Charles Manson one and the same people?
